We celebrated International Day on Wednesday, June 12th . This is a very special day in our annual school calendar when we all come together to celebrate the wonderful multi – cultural heritage which so enriches our school.
That day school was filled with wonderful colour as children, families and friends all dressed up in their native costumes or country colours. We enjoyed Irish music and dance, Indian song and dance, African music, Polish dancing and a fantastic gymnastic display from Ukraine,
We were also treated to a flavour of some countries’ traditional food. The Indian cuisine was a clear favourite!
We are really thankful to our school community who share their heritage with us each year, making it a very special celebration.
